The Absence of Time

Time passes slowly and quickly all at once.
I can’t catch it.
Neither can I run away from it.
It’s with me while it passes me by.
It mocks me and takes me for a ride.
It wants me to be depleted,
Deprived.
Tired.

I don’t know what to do with it. I
guess we have to acknowledge that it can never be acquired.

Time is not something that we can save.
It’s not something that we can spend.
It is persistently here.
As we live, it makes its way passed.
We must acknowledge that time does not last.

From time, we cannot hide.

With time, we must abide.

We have but a moment. And we must exist in that. We must feel it. Embrace it. Because that is all that it is. Our present moment, neither future nor past.

We must learn to live life alive.
